Built-in advanced 100A Battery Management System (BMS) offers comprehensive protection through intelligent Bluetooth 5.0 monitoring and control.
- Overvoltage Protection: The BMS shuts down the charging interface if the battery voltage is too high. The voltage of a single cell should not exceed 3.65V. When the single-cell voltage drops to a certain value, the charging interface is reopened.
- Deep Discharge / Undervoltage / Overload Protection: When the battery votage drops under 10V, the BMS shuts down the battery. It can only be activated when the battery is fully charged.
- Passive Balancer: Passive balancing is activated when the voltage of a single cell exceeds 3.4V and the voltage difference among the four cells exceeds 30mV.
- Extrem Temperature Protection: If the battery temperature is too low/high (-20°C - 60°C), the BMS shuts down the battery. Only when the battery temperature returns to normal does the BMS automatically switch the battery on.
- Charging Current Protection: If the charging current is too high, the BMS will shut down the battery. Typically, the charging current of our batteries does not exceed 1C. The standard charging current of the battery is 0.2C - 0.5C.

There are three general charging methods: AC-DC LiFePO4 charger, solar panel charging and DC generator charging.

Typically, LiFePO4 lithium batteries can be charged at a rate of 0.2C to 0.5C, where C is the capacity of the battery in ampere-hours (Ah). So, this 314Ah Mini LiFePO4 lithium smart battery can be charged at a standard rate of 62.8A (0.2C) to 157A (0.5C).
All Humsienk LiFePO4 lithium batteries are charged within a range of 0°C to 55°C and feature low temperature cut-off protection. When the ambient temperature is below 0°C, the BMS will cut off to protect the battery. Charging in freezing temperatures will damage the battery cells.
Humsienk 12V 314Ah Mini LiFePO4 lithium smart battery supports up to 4 series and 4 parallel connections, which means that 16 12V 314Ah Mini LiFePO4 lithium smart batteries can form a 48V 1256Ah battery system.
⚠️ Critical Connection Requirements
- Same brand: The batteries need to be of the same brand, as the cells and BMS of other brands of batteries may be different from those used by Humsienk.
- Same Battery Model: Using the exact same battery model with the same voltage (V), capacity (Ah), and BMS rating (A).
- Purchased in the last three months: Ensuring they are from the same manufacturing batch for balanced performance.
Tips: Before connecting batteries in series or parallel, each battery needs to be fully charged.
3 12V 100Ah batteries connected in parallel can create a 12V 300Ah battery system. However, using only one battery in the system allows for better consistency and more stable performance, uses fewer wires, and is smaller. And the size of 12V 314Ah Mini LiFePO4 lithium battery is not much different from the regular 12V 100Ah battery.
