All Humsienk LiFePO4 batteries have built-in powerful BMS, which has multiple protections such as overvoltage, overcurrent, extreme temperature, short circuit, etc.
Built-in advanced 110A Battery Management System (BMS) offers comprehensive protection.
- Overvoltage Protection: The BMS shuts down the charging interface if the battery voltage is too high. The voltage of a single cell should not exceed 3.65V. When the single-cell voltage drops to a certain value, the charging interface is reopened.
- Deep Discharge / Undervoltage / Overload Protection: When the battery votage drops under 10V, the BMS shuts down the battery. It can only be activated when the battery is fully charged.
- Passive Balancer: Passive balancing is activated when the voltage of a single cell exceeds 3.4V and the voltage difference among the four cells exceeds 30mV.
- Extrem Temperature Protection: If the battery temperature is too low/high (-20°C - 60°C), the BMS shuts down the battery. Only when the battery temperature returns to normal does the BMS automatically switch the battery on.
- Charging Current Protection: If the charging current is too high, the BMS will shut down the battery. Typically, the charging current of our batteries does not exceed 1C. The standard charging current of the battery is 0.2C - 0.5C.

No, this is not recommended. All Humisenk LiFePO4 batteries are deep cycle batteries. Using a charger not specifically designed for LiFePO4 batteries may result in overcharging and damage to the LiFePO4 battery cells.
All Humsienk LiFePO4 deep cycle batteries are charged within a range of 0°C to 55°C and feature low temperature cut-off protection. When the ambient temperature is below 0°C, the BMS will cut off to protect the battery. Charging in freezing temperatures will damage the battery cells.

Yes. Humsienk 12V 100Ah Max Plus LiFePO4 deep cycle batteries can be connected in series to increase the voltage to 24V, 36V, or 48V for an off-grid power system. For maximum power output, you can first wire the batteries in series, then connect the sets of batteries in parallel (do use batteries of the same model and generation) to achieve up to 20.48kWh.
⚠️ Critical Connection Requirements
- Same brand: The batteries need to be of the same brand, as the cells and BMS of other brands of batteries may be different from those used by Humsienk.
- Same Battery Model: Using the exact same battery model with the same voltage (V), capacity (Ah), and BMS rating (A).
- Purchased in the last three months: Ensuring they are from the same manufacturing batch for balanced performance.
Tips: Before connecting batteries in series or parallel, each battery needs to be fully charged.
To store LiFePO4 lithium batteries for an extended period, you must ensure that the temperature is favorable. Humsienk recommends 10°C - 40°C. The storage space should be dry and indoors, away from direct exposure to sunlight. When not in use, keep the battery level between 40% and 60%, and charge it approximately 10% every 2-3 months.
